A clear drinking glass with a dimpled base. A picture of Mount Taranaki features in black on the front. " G.T.G PROJECT / SAFETY AWARD " is written around the mountain.
These mugs and other items such as first aid kits were awarded to contractors working on the Gas to Gasoline project at Motunui.

This glass was part of set awarded to Karl Taylor in July 1984 when he was working as an industrial spray painter during the construction of the Synfuel plant at Motunui. Safety awards were presented monthly to staff during the construction of the plant.
