A German World War I era Model 24 stick grenade ( Stielhandgranate ). The grenade is fitted with a carrying clip and has a rounded wooden handle. " VOR GERBRAUCH / SPRENGKAPSEL / EINSETZEN F.A.B " is marked on the grenade head. Similar text is marked in faded black stencil on the wooden handle.
