Hat, Cocked
Description
A black cocked hat covered in a light fabric that once had a velvet-like pile which has now worn off leaving only a few traces of it. There are black braided edges around the brim and the hat is trimmed with a flattened bow on one side. The inside has a leather sweatband and a cotton lining that has the manufacturing label on it which reads " By Special Appointment / To His Majesty the King / Gieves Ltd / 21 Bond St. London, and 118 Princes St. Edinburgh. "
