These gloves belonged to Cydie Strang. She was a life member of the New Plymouth Little Theatre and Operatic Societies and a member of the New Plymouth Repertory Society. She was a driving force behind the Little Theatre's acquisition of its Aubrey St site and she was awarded an MBE for her services to the theatre in 1980. She died in 1999.
