Description
A light brown linen tea towel promoting the Country Women's Institute. The towel has a border of ngutu kaka patterns. The crest of the institute which features the interlocking letters " CWI " is near the top. " FOR HOME / AND COUNTRY " is written around the edge of this crest. A New Zealand map is at the centre and two plants and two kiwi are pictured near the bottom. " NEW ZEALAND COUNTRY WOMEN'S INSTITUTE " is written beside the map. "Kiwi / Apeteryx mantelli " is written below the kiwi. " Platyloma Falcata " is written under the plant on the right facing side and " Scolopendram Officinalis " is written under the plant on the right facing side. " Ngutu Kaka " is written on all four corners of the border.
