Crease
Description
A double crease with a rounded wooden handle attached to a slightly curved shank which ends in an axe shaped head with two blunt edges. " 1 " is stamped into the head. " J DIXON " is stamped into the shank. There is a small hole at the end of the handle.

repair
and
saddlery
shop
in
Queen
Street,
Waitara.
Leatherworkers
use
a
wide
variety
of
crease
tools,
but
they
all
have
the
basic
job
of
imprinting
lines
on
the
surface
of
leather.
This
can
be
done
for
decoration
or
as
a
guide
for
sewing.
