A fiddler which has a smooth metal blade mounted in a rounded wooden handle. The blade is a flat half round which tapers slightly towards a rounded tip. A brass brand is fitted around the handle where the blade joins it. "GRA" is stamped very faintly on the wooden handle.
This fiddler was used by Robert Graham, who owned a boot repair and saddlery shop in Queen Street, Waitara. Leatherworkers use fiddlers, after they have been warmed, to apply wax.
