An American racer with a slender shank that has a narrow groove running down the centre. The shank is attached to a rounded wooden handle and there is a brass band around handle where it joins the shank. " 2 " is stamped on the top of the shank along with some other illegible manufacturers marks.
This American Racer was used by Robert Graham, who owned a boot repair and saddlery shop in Queen Street, Waitara. It is designed to cut grooves in leather.
