This screw crease was used by Robert Graham, who owned a boot repair and saddlery shop in Queen Street, Waitara. Leatherworkers use a wide variety of crease tools, but they all have the basic job of imprinting lines on the surface of leather. This can be done for decoration or as a guide for sewing.
