Description
A Waitara Country Women's Institute banner. The black velvet banner features a simplified globe painted at the centre with North, South, East and West identified. " WORLD " is painted over the top of the globe. " WAITARA / C.W.I " is painted in yellow with a red border. The banner also features a Women's Institute logo made up of the letters " WI " which are interlocked and surrounded by an oval border. " FOR HOME / AND COUNTRY " is painted inside the border. Two flowers are painted near the top corners of the banner. A wooden rod is threaded through the top of the banner and a yellow cord is attached to the rod. There are yellow tassels at the base of the banner.
