Description
A white cotton gown with two layers of skirt that are both trimmed with broderie anglaise and a bodice that has lines of broderie anglaise running down from the shoulders to the waistband. The waistband is made of cotton. Down the centre front of the garment there is a row of snap fastenings and decorative black and white plastic buttons. Around the cuffs and collar there is a piece of narrow black velvet ribbon. The collar stands up with three pieces of bone for stiffening and is trimmed with a row of cotton lace.
