Description
An FS-35 camera with a built in flash and accompanying case. The camera has a red button on the top to activate the shutter. There are two sliding mechanisms on the front to control the flash and the lens cover. "MINOLTA" is written in white on the front near the viewfinder underneath the circular Minolta logo. "FOCUS FREE/DX AUTO/FS-35" is also written on the front. The reverse of the camera has a film compartment and the battery compartment can be accessed from the bottom. "3215607" is stamped on the bottom. The case has a black vinyl covering and a hole in the lid for the camera strap. It can be fastened using a Velcro strip.

This camera was given to New Plymouth boy Andrew Moffat as a birthday present from his grandmother Frances Moffat in the mid 1980s. It was used for family photography until the mid 1990s.
