Description
A wooden sea chest with a hinged lid. The chest has metal braces on the corners of the base and metal handles at each end. One of these handles is broken off. " Wesley Turton / University Houses / Leith Street / Dunedin / New Zealand " is written in faded black lettering on top of the lid. Two cardboard labels are also nailed to the lid. " This side up " is handwritten on one of the labels and there is an illegible name on the other. " FORWARDED / INTERNATIONAL EXPRESS / REGENT PLACE / REGENT ST / LONDON " is written in faded black letters on one side. The interior is lined with paper.
