Description
A British issue Turkish Crimean War medal with an ornate oak leaf clasp with an acorn at each end. The suspender is an ornate swivel. The obverse features a cannon, weapons and the four allied flags " CRIMEA 1855 " is marked near the bottom of the medal. The reverse features the Toughra (seal or signature) of Sultan Abd al-Mejid " E. F. HEMINGWAY PURVEYOR'S CLERK " is marked on the edge of the medal. The ribbon is crinmson with green edging and an extra piece of ribbon is attached to the original ribbon with a pin.
