Vestment

Description
A Catholic priest's white vestment and sash with yellow and red ornamentation. The vestment features an embroidered sheep standing on a platform at the centre.The placket at the front can be fastened by three metal domes. There is a yellow braid at either end of the sash. There is a lace trim around the edge of the collar and a section of lace around the edges on the centre section of the sash. There are some red symbols at the centre of the reverse.

This vestment was used in services at the Whangamomona Catholic Church. When the vestment was donated in 2005 it had been sitting unused in a cupboard for a number of years.
