Description
John Bevan Ford was an artist with a Taranaki connection who worked in a variety of media including carving and painting. A tutor at Massey University, John exhibited his art works both nationally and internationally.
The collection gives a profile of John Bevan Ford and his works. It contains photographs, correspondence (both general and personal), catalogues and various articles relevant to his work and interests and a film.
The Puke Ariki also holds a collection of John Bevan Ford's paintings and several stone carvings.
