Description
An oblong cardboard box containing a large roll of cotton wool wrapped in a grey piece of paper. "CONFORMING TO THE SPECIFICATION OF THE DRUG TARIFF/HOSPITAL QUALITY/WHITE ABSORBENT/COTTON WOOL/ 8 oz/SURGICAL/A SMITH AND NEPHEW PRODUCT/MADE IN ENGLAND" is written in red and black lettering of various sizes on the four largest sides of the box. "HOSPITAL/8oz/COTTON WOOL" is written on one end of the box. There are two yellow and two grey stripes running around the box. A ripped piece of clear cellophane is wrapped around one portion of the box. One side of the box is perforated and has "TO OPEN RUN THUMB ALONG THIS PERFORATION" written in black above the perforation.
