"Brachyglottis rangiora"
Description
An unframed botanical work of oil on canvas. This plant species has a brown stem off which are large leaves of varying shades of green and brown, and clusters of tiny cream-coloured flowers. The background is soft pink fading into a silvery purple.
Fanny has identified this plant species as "Brachyglottis rangiora", rangiora being the Māori term for this plant. An alternative term for this plant species is Brachyglottis repanda.
