Clear glass tube containing a small quantity of iron ore. The tube has a yellow paper label on the front that reads "WELBOURN SCOUTS/DISTRICT/New Plymouth, N.Z/Iron Ore Concentrate/1st Taranaki Shipment/to Japan-1969/Donated By/MARCONA DEVELOPMENTS N.Z. LTD." The label features a scouts emblem at the top. The tube is sealed by a black plastic lid.
