Ice Pick

Description
Originally identifed as a manicure tool, this object is now believed to be a small ice pick with an ornate handle. The tool has a simple metal shaft sharpened to a point at one end and would have been part of a bar set including a corkscrew. Used at a time when ice cubes didn't exist and households would get a large block of ice delivered then use the pick to make small chips.

It's an Ice Pick and a part of a bar set that includes the corkscrew in picture below not a manicure tool. They were used at a time when little ice cubes didn't exist. Some households would get a large block of ice delivered and the pick was used to get small chips.
