Description
A battery operated mantle clock. The clock has a grey face which is covered in clear glass. The body has a brown wooden veneer on the front and sides and it is painted black on the reverse. A hinged panel on the reverse can be used to access the battery compartment and interior of the clock. "SEIKO/TRANSISTOR/5 JEWELS" is written on the face. It rests on two wooden legs and comes complete with a pamphlet of operating instructions. A list of dates and battery types has been handwritten on the back of the booklet. The earliest date recorded is 1974 and the latest is 1986. A paper label on the underside of the base reads "SEIKO/JAPAN/TTZ-105."
