 Description
Serviceman, Serviceman, Michael John Crofskey (d.1968) volunteered in 1940, and sailed with the 25th Battalion to Egypt the same year. In Nov 1841 he was wounded in action and taken prisioner by the Germans. He was in a POW camp for four years, making several escape attempts, eventually successfully.
