Description
Serviceman Ivan Huia Dillon (1910-1942) in military uniform. Ivan married Elsie May Saunders in 1934 and the couple had three children. He was killed in action in Egypt on 14 July 1942 during the Second World War and is buried in El Alamein Cemetery.

Above photos are of Ivan Huia Dillion not Davidson as noted. Identified by his daughter Elizabeth. Family has a copy of the photo on the right but are thrilled to see the photo on the left of him smiling as they have not seen that photo before. Ivan died in Egypt. Killed by a sniper.
