Two woman wearing 'trencher' caps seated in a cart decorated with flowers and pulled by a horse. They were taking part in a procession of decorated ponies and carriages as part of an annual Floral Fete held in Pukekura Park (then known as the Recreation Grounds) on 9 November 1896, celebrating the Prince of Wales birthday.
