Oral history. Born 1941, Helembra, Hungary. Julius gives a brief background to his family history. They lost property to the communists and left Hungary in 1956. He talks of the 1956 Uprising. Moved to Vienna, Austria. Emigrated, arriving in Wellington on the SS Rome, 1961. Worked for Fletchers and married a New Zealander. Ten years in New Plymouth. Speaks of his family back in Hungary.
