A 45rpm record titled "Folk Dances Number 5" The record is held in a cardboard cover and plastic sleeve. Side 1 features the tracks "Rig-A-Jig-Jig"" and "Skip Annika". Side 2 features "Circle Gallop" and "Peasant Dance French." The cover features a couple in French costume. The reverse of the cover features album credits and background information on dance and costume. "NEWALL SCHOOL/OKATO TARANAKI/16 JUN 1966" is stamped on the reverse.
This record was part of a series of over 70 produced by Kiwi Records, a record label owned by New Zealand publisher A.H. & A.W Reed. The Folk Dances of the World series was a regular fixture of many primary school dance classes. This record was originally used in Newall School, Okato, during the 1960s.
