Description
A clear glass butter churn. There is a red metal cover over the gears of the churning mechanism which turns an aluminium blade. The churn has a metal handle with a wooden attachment. "BLOW BUTTER CHURN 4/40/MADE IN ENGLAND/4 IMPERIAL QUARTS" is embossed on the front of the glass. "4/40" and "U G B/2" is embossed on the base. "Blow" is embossed on both sides of the red metal cover and "British Regd 856612" is embossed on one side of the cover. The churn has a metal screw top lid with an area of holes that is designed to act as a whey screen.
