A fashion plate for Myra's Mid-Monthly Journal that is dated July 13, 1882. It is titled: "Myra's Mid-Monthly Journal and Children's Dress". It depicts a woman standing by a stone wall with her back to the viewer. She is wearing a black-patterned gown with ruffles and a red pleated underskirt. The gown has fabric draped up around the back seams which emphasize the curve at the lower back - probably due to a bustle being worn underneath. Her hat is small and made of straw with red ribbons decorating it.
