Description
A fashion plate depicting three woman in an outdoor autumn scene. The plate is titled: "Latest Paris Fashions" as supplement to "The Queen" from November 3, 1888. The woman on the viewer's left is wearing a dark coat with brown fur edging, long white gloves and a black hat with a white plume. She is holding a pair of glasses. The woman in the centre is wearing a green-striped gown cape with matching under-jacket. It is also edged with dark fur. She is holding an umbrella. The last woman (on the right side) is wearing a brown short-style jacket that has an elaborate front collar and opening. It is lined with fur and has a matching muff. Each woman has a similar shape garment with emphasis on the bustle and small waist.
