Description
A fashion plate titled: "The Fashions/Expressly designed & prepared for The 'Englishwoman's Domestic Magazine' ". It depicts two women gazing along a shoreline. Both are wearing a similar-style gown. One is brown and a deep rose-colour and the other a light-blue colour. A side profile of their gowns displays the masses of pleats, bows and draped fabrics emphasizing the large bustles. They are wearing hats which are decorated with ruffles, bows and flowers and sitting high in their hair.
