Description
A matching blue silk bodice and skirt ensemble. Both pieces are backed with a cream-coloured linen. The bodice is edged with black braiding, jet beads and ball-tassel trim. The balls are also along the front opening and used as buttons. There is a small tail on the back and the sleeves are long and bell shaped. The inside is boned and has a waistbelt tacked to the back and sides.The back has princess seams. The skirt is gathered at the waistband and is slightly longer at the back.
