A matching blue silk bodice and skirt ensemble. Both pieces are backed with a cream-coloured linen. The bodice is edged with black braiding, jet beads and ball-tassel trim. This dress belonged to Dora McDonald daughter of John McDonald, Eltham's first store proprietor. He also held the title of Postmaster of the district. Dora McDonald married Fred Reardon and lived most of her life in Eltham.
