Description
A view of Pukekura Park (then known as the Recreation Ground) from "Whalebone Hill". The Band Rotunda is situated in front of the lake with Poet's Bridge and Mt Taranaki/Egmont visible in the background. The drinking fountain next to the rotunda was unveiled on 22 June 1897 as part of celebrations to mark Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.
