Bookends

Description
Two rewarewa (Knightia excelsa) bookends which each feature a framed photograph covered in glass. The photograph shows the kiosk in Pukekura Park with Mount Taranaki/Egmont and the main lake in the background. "New Plymouth/N.Z." is engraved in the wood below the photograph. "Beatcraft/WOODWARE/MADE IN NEW ZEALAND" is written on a transfer on the underside of both bases. Both bases have a white sticker stuck to their underside. The text on the sticker on the left bookend is mostly obscured. "MT. EGMONT FROM/PUKEKURA PARK/NEW PLYMOUTH/N.Z. 4392" is written on the sticker on the right bookend. "To Dad/Love/From Dorothy" is also handwritten in pen on this sticker.
