Description
A cream-coloured satin wedding gown with a short-sleeved bodice and train at the hem. The gown is adorned with two rows of twenty-seven satin-covered buttons that line down the two front seams. The neckline has a fringe of silver, white and pearl beading. The cuffs, neckline and waistline have matching lace that is made of cream-coloured chiffon with a satin-stitched shell-shaped pattern. Along the inside seams of the bodice are bones and at the back hook and eye fastenings. The garment is lined with a heavy silk and the hem is edged with a row of finely pleated lace. There are two separate long sleeves that are made of satin with rows of horizontal tucks that go with the gown.
