Plaque
Description
A hand painted, wooden plaque depicting a Pukekura Park scene featuring flowers in the foreground, the main lake spanned by Poet's Bridge in the centre and Mount Taranaki / Egmont in the background. Two white swans are pictured on the lake. "Pukekura Park / New Plymouth" is handwritten in pencil on the reverse of the plaque. "No 49/14/6/9" is also written in pencil on the reverse. Two metal eyelets have been screwed into the reverse of the plaque and a double thickness of copper wire is threaded between them.
