A full time artist specializing in botanical paintings, Worthington was the winner of a silver medal at the 2003 Royal Horticultural Society art show in London.
She was commissioned by New Zealand Post to produce five stamps and two day covers in Garden Flowers II issue,released on the 2nd June 2004.
