A white silk Ranfurly Shield rugby supporters scarf. The scarf lists the holders of the Ranfurly Shield from 1934-54. It features a map of New Zealand surrounded by fern leaves, kiwi and rugby balls. It has New Zealand regional names bordering the outer edge.

Jocelyn Falconer bought this scarf for her first husband, Jim Guthrie, in the 1950s or 1960s. He wore it to a few rugby games at Rugby Park in New Plymouth and also to some games in Palmerston North.

I have one of these was given to me in the mid 70s and just thinking what price it would bring. Not pristine condition a few water marks but can read all that is on it.
