Brough, John
Description
John Brough was a founding member of the Hawera Repertory Society in 1946 and kept scrapbooks of everything they produced until his death in 1998. He also researched and wrote a book on the history of the society titled 'On stage : plays, producers and players. An historical record of the first five decades of the Hawera Repertory Society (Inc)'. Published 1995.
The collection contains the scrapbooks, research notes and some rough drafts of his book.
