Description
A pair of World War Two Airforce flying goggles enclosed in a hinged cardboard box. The box also contains a tin of Outfit Anti Dimming Mk. VI and two tinted lenses. The clear goggles can be fastened to the head by a grey elastic strap. They have brown leather padding around the goggles. "GOGGLES Mk. VIII/STORES REF. 23c/930/with/Windows Tinted-Right and Left (complete in/holders and Outfit. Anti-Dimming Mk. VI/10136". "A M/MARK VIII/22c/930 10136" is written on one end of the box. The small tin is rusted and soiled and it is fused shut. The instructions for use on the bottom are very difficult to read.
