Description
A light brown-coloured velvet jacket with epaulettes on each shoulder on top of a separate band that goes down the front of the bodice on each front panel. The garment has velvet-covered metal buttons all over that have a metal border around the edges. It has very full sleeves. There is a yellow velvet strip with an embroidered pattern on the centre front, neckline and cuffs. The same yellow velvet is used for piping around the seams. The centre front is curved and has a hook and eye fastening. There is a narrow band collar, a waistbelt and basque. "R. Martin/Draper/Maidenhead" is written on the label on the inside of the neck.
