The cover of the booklet features a picture of two infants wearing embroidered clothing and a baby's top and bib which have been embroidered."TIP TOP Transfers/Book No. 18 BABIES' EMBROIDERY" is written near the top of the cover. "9d" is written on a white sticker stuck on the cover. "THERE'S A TIP TOP BOOK/FOR EVERY NEED" is written near the bottom right of the cover. The back cover features the details of other booklets in the series, the manufacturer's details and an advertisement for Clark's Anchor Stranded Cotton. The booklet has three pages featuring floral motifs and is held together by a single staple near the spine.
