Description
A tie press made with two flat rectangular wooden slats with steel fittings. The bottom slat has a frame attached while the top slat has an arch shaped bow spring attached. A round metal bar can be inserted to hold the slats together. Lower slat rests on four rubber domes. " EVERITT'S / PATENT NO.s / 2363/8 255217 " is marked on the steel on the underside of the bottom slat. " (illegible) ENGLAND OF WOOD, IRON, / STEEL & BESSEMER STEEL " is written on a paper label stuck to the underside of the bottom slat.
