Badge (Girl Guides)

Description
A small metal badge shaped like a three leaf clover. The central leaf has a star shape cut out of it and the letters "G G are embossed on the other two leaves. "GIRL GUIDES" is embossed on a scroll design at the base of the clover. A pin and clasp mechanism is attached to the reverse of the badge"[obscured]RTRAM BRO[obscured]/MELB" is embossed on the reverse.

This badge belonged to Judy Jones (nee Donnelly) who attended Girl Guides in New Plymouth in the early 1960s. It is a Girl Guide enrolment badge, and was worn by Girl Guides on their uniform ties. Patrol leaders wore theirs on their beret, above the Girl Guide emblem.
