badge
would
have
denoted
being

the
Kiwi
patrol,
and
was
worn
along
with
a
shoulder-knot
of
brown
woven
strips
on
the
top
of
the
the
left
sleeve.

Girl Guide Patrol Emblem - 'Kiwi Patrol'. The badge was worn centred above the left pocket, with the 'Brownie Wings' worn above this. This badge was accompanied by a shoulder-knot of brown woven strips. The knot was worn at the top of the left sleeve. A GG Company was divided in to small groups of girls called patrols, each patrol was usually named after a flower or bird.
