This badge belonged to Judy Jones (nee Donnelly) who attended Girl Guides in New Plymouth in the early 1960s. This badge was a Brownie Six badge, for the Patu-pai-arehe Six. Brownie packs were split into small groups called sixes, with each six having its own name and badge. New Zealand had four sixes, named after Maori fairies. This badge was worn above the right uniform pocket.
