 Description
A large lime green and black street banner promoting the 2005 World of Music Arts and Dance ( WOMAD) festival. The banner features a profile of Mount Taranaki / Egmont in black set against a lime green background. A series of blue circles of various designs are arranged on the green background. " WOMAD " is written in large black letters on the banner and " TARANAKI /11th-13th MARCH 2005 " is written in white below this. " WORLD OF MUSIC ARTS AND DANCE" is written in white against the mountain background. This black section also features the sponsors logos of Shell and Todd Energy. A cardboard label which reads " FLAGMAKERS / MADE IN NEW ZEALAND " is sewn onto one edge of the banner. This label also includes washing instructions. A section of black, heavy material at the top has been stitched to allow a pole to pass through it.
