This bedspread belonged to Elizabeth Munnerley. She was the daughter of Samuel Munnerley and Martha Skelhorn. Elizabeth Munnerley was christened on 8 April 1832 at St Andrew's, Bebington, Wirral, Cheshire, England and died on 21 November 1879 at age 34 in Alma Place, Primrose Hill, New Ferry, Wirral, Cheshire, England. She was buried at St Andrew's Churchyard in Bebington. Elizabeth did not marry. It was passed down her family before being donated to Puke Ariki.
