Description
Three railway guardsmen with a Baldwin Locomotive steam engine #296. Stationary on railway tracks (engine only). Twelve locomotives were ordered from the American manufacturer Baldwin in 1898. These were distributed to Northland (one), Wellington/Napier/New Plymouth (four), and Westport (two).
