Oral history. George William Wellington was born on a farm at Wharehuia near Stratford. In this interview, he talks of his early school days and training college. Wellington attended Victoria University and later, Auckland Teachers' College to recieve training in education. He speaks of his first teaching jobs and the courtship and marriage to his wife Stella.
